Arturo Jimenez - District 5 - Vice President

Elected in 2007, Arturo Jimenez is the newest member of the Board of Education representing Northwest and West Denver. Arturo graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with degrees in Sociology and Ethnic Studies and has a Juris Doctor Degree from the CU School of Law. Read more...

Jeannie Kaplan - District 3 - Secretary

Kaplan was born in Youngstown, Ohio on September 2, 1945. Both of her parents were public school teachers: her mother was a music teacher; her father was a history/social studies teacher. Kaplan attended public schools and graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.A. in American Culture. Read more...
