- Motion to Approve Procurement of Social Studies Textbooks from: Teacher's Curriculum Institute, Nystrom, Highsmith(Midsparks), National Center for History in the Schools-UCLA, Rand McNally, Cobblestone Publishing, Jackdaw Publications, Center for Civic Education, Holt Rinehart, Brown University, Scholastic, and Bedford/St. Martin's. The Finance and Audit committee will be asked to approve an award to purchase social studies textbooks for middle schools and high schools, subject to ratification by the Board of Education at their regular meeting of August 17, 2006.
