Resolution Authorizing the Issuance, of its General Obligation Bonds, Series 2004, in the Aggregate Principal Amount of $310,800,000 (IV-B-1a) - To approve a resolution authorizing the issuance, of General Obligation Bonds, Series 2004, in the aggregate principal amount of $310,800,000 for the purposes set forth in the ballot question authorizing such bonds; paying the costs of issuance of such bonds; providing for the levy of ad valorem taxes for the payment of such bonds; providing the form of such bonds and other details with respect to such bonds and the payment thereof; approving other documents relating to such bonds; and providing the effective date of this resolution.

1. Receive Plan for Implementation of the Early Education and Extended-Day Kindergarten Program for 2004-2005 (VI-A-1) - This report outlines the way in which full-day kindergarten and early-childhood education will be implemented in 2004-2005, including the ECE/Kindergarten mill levy initiative.
