      1. Gift Report (IV-A-2) - The Board of Education will be asked to accept gifts having a value of $500 or more.

        1. Motion to Ratify Procurement of Art Materials from Davis Publications (IV-A-3a) - The Board of Education will be asked to approve an award to purchase art materials from Davis Publications for the elementary schools.
        2. Motion to Ratify Procurement of Music Materials from MacMillan McGraw-Hill (IV-A-3b) - The Board of Education will be asked to approve an award to purchase music materials from MacMillan McGraw-Hill for the elementary schools.
        3. Motion to Approve the Award of Bid #BD 1104 to Andrews Food Service, Colorado Sales, Innovative Packaging, Interboro Packaging, Northern Colorado Paper, and United Restaurant (IV-A-3c) - The Board of Education will be asked to approve the stated bid, which was to solicit responses from qualified vendors to establish contracts from which Food and Nutrition Services can purchase plastic, foil, foam, and paper products to keep their warehouse stocked.
        4. Motion to Ratify Construction Contract with Brown Schrepferman & Co. (IV-A-3d) - The Board of Education will be asked to approve a construction contract award to Brown Schrepferman & Co. for school remodeling projects at Crofton, Ebert, Harrington, Mitchell, and Stedman Elementary Schools and Morey Middle School.
        5. Motion to Ratify Construction Contract with the Turner Construction Company (IV-A-3e) - The Board of Education will be asked to approve a construction contract award to the Turner Construction Company for school remodeling projects at Asbury, Ellis, Knight Academy, and Lincoln Elementary Schools, Merrill Middle School and Slavens K-8 School.
        6. Motion to Approve Construction Contract with White Construction Company for the Baker Middle School Renovation Project (IV-A-3f) - The Board of Education will be asked to approve a construction contract award to the White Construction Company for the Baker Middle School renovation project.
        7. Motion to Approve Authorization for the Solicitation for a Natural Gas Contract (IV-A-3g) - The Board of Education will be asked to authorize the solicitation for a Natural Gas Contract.
      1. Motion to Appoint a Representative to the Denver Public Schools Retirement System Board (IV-A-4) - The Board of Education will be asked to approve the Motion to Appoint a representative to the Denver Public Schools Retirement System Board.
      2. Motion to Appoint Amy Friedman to the Pioneer Charter School Governing Board (IV-A-5) - The Board of Education will be asked to approve the Motion to Appoint Amy Friedman to the Pioneer Charter School Governing Board.

Resolution Proposing a 2006 General Obligation Bond Ballot Initiative for the November 7, 2006, General Election (IV-B-2a) - The Board of Education will be asked to approve a resolution proposing the formation of a Citizens Ad Hoc Committee on Facility Needs to assist Denver Public Schools in collaboratively developing a plan to address the advisability of pursuing a General Obligation Bond ballot initiative for the November 7, 2006, general election.

      1. Motion to Change Pupil Assignment at Montbello Village Place K-8 (IV-C-1) - The Board of Education will approve the motion that Montbello Village Place K-8 enroll students via the Choice process in lieu of school boundaries.
      2. Motion to Change Pupil Assignment at Green Valley Ranch Picadilly K-8 (IV-C-2) - The Board of Education will approve the motion that Green Valley Ranch Picadilly K-8 enroll students via defined boundaries for grades K through 5 and via the Choice process for grades 6 through 8.
      3. Motion to Adopt the 2006-2007 Denver Public Schools Traditional Calendar (IV-C-3) - The Board of Education will approve the motion to adopt the 2006-2007 Denver Public Schools Traditional Calendar.
      4. Motion to Approve a Grant Application to the Department of Education (IV-C-4) - The Board of Education will take action on the motion to approve an application to the Department of Education for a grant concerning the teaching of American History.

      1. Policy GDBD, Employee Fringe Benefits (IV-D-1a) - The Board of Education will adopt Policy GDBD, which has been revised to reflect the retirement notification date, to be consistent with the Memorandum of Agreement in Art. 31-14 of the DCTA Agreement.
